Syllabically speaking, I like Jessica Taylor. Transitioning from a first name that ends with a vowel to a middle name that begins with a vowel is a little mushy.

Personally I cannot stand when anyone names their daughter Taylor. (Probably, because that's my son's name and the name was originally meant for a boy).

I think my first son is going to pretty much end up with Taylor as his middle name, I've been set on Ryan Taylor for forever.
After falling in love with Hanson at the age of 14, I've always thought I wanted Taylor as my middle name, since mine sucks :P (It's Ann Arline)

I used to hate my name and now I LOVE it! Most of my co-workers call me Jess which is just okay. Family calls me Jessie- more like a term of endearment- I like it from them. College friends/professors have called me Jessica. It seems more classy/sophisticated.

Hehehe I go by your same nicknames, Jessie is sweet, Jess is sporty and Jessica is classy :) Here in Italy they also call me Jè (prn Jeh), but I don't like it from just anybody. It can sound like a careless thrown-in sound and that's not so polite from certain people (I'm not sure that made any sense, sorry :P)

I'm a Jessica Leigh. It's a really common combination though. Probably half of the Jessicas I've met in my life have been Jessica Leighs.

I think Jessica goes really well with the common middle names though. Jessica Grace, Jessica Lynn, Jessica Marie. I met a Jessica Kate once, and it was different. I still haven't decided if I liked it.
