is Genova the last name? I don't think it's too much Italian, but Gianni Genova is too much of the same sounds, repeated. With a different Italian first name it would sound better. (I actually really like that the first and last names match w/ regard to both being Italian :o)
I dont think its too much. My son will be 1/4 Italian, but 1/2 German. Im not too big of a fan of German names (no offense to anyone), but I love Italian names. If my son wasn't being named after his father, he would be named something Italian or Greek. My daughter will hopefully have an Italian name. Mine is Isabella and I love it.
