I like them all seperately but Gianni Genova is quite a mouthful, and yeah, all together it's a bit much, imo. Good luck :)

is Genova the last name?
I don't think it's too much Italian, but Gianni Genova is too much of the same sounds, repeated. With a different Italian first name it would sound better. (I actually really like that the first and last names match w/ regard to both being Italian :o)

I'm usually really hard on names that sound anywhere near similar

but, you know...i kind of like that, Gianni Genova.

it strikes me as kind of a movie star name.

I like it. I have 2 (important)characters in one of my stories named Gianni (parent and child).

I dont think its too much. My son will be 1/4 Italian, but 1/2 German. Im not too big of a fan of German names (no offense to anyone), but I love Italian names. If my son wasn't being named after his father, he would be named something Italian or Greek. My daughter will hopefully have an Italian name. Mine is Isabella and I love it.
