Jul. 15th, 2005 05:40 pmHey friends! Y'all are going to die, but I am being induced with our second son NEXT Friday and I still haven't decided on a name. I was hoping for a little feedback. Just to give you some background, we live in the southeast US and are really set on a traditional name. I'm huge on family names and nicknames don't bother me a bit considering almost everyone in our family has one. That being said, here's my first question. I'm thinking of naming him John Campbell Blackwelder - John is a family name and Campbell is my maiden name. Here's the thing. I don't want to call him John and I don't want to call him Campbell. I LOVE the nickname Jack for John - would it be terrible to have a Jack Blackwelder? Am I just being silly and overthinking it? Thanks for any input.
