Aww, I love Gabriel. I like Parker too, just don't tell anyone it's because of Spidey. LoL And The Hulk is my fiances FAVORITE comic book character, so I'm shocked as hell he hasn't suggested Bruce yet also!

Personally I don't think it is a good idea to ever name someone based on when/where/how they were conceived. Nobody wants to think about their conception! And you can't even tell the child the meaning of their name until they're old enough to hear the birds and bees talk.

Not that you are doing this, but since it was brought up....

Is Horus supposed to be Horace?

LOL at Aurora Christmas.

I'd go for Peter over Parker (keeping with the Spiderman theme), and I really like Gabriel. Other than that... yeah, crazy names. But your kids will be remembered, that's for sure!

Horus (sp?)(this would actually please my daughter)

Horace?

I like Gabriel and Bruce. There are a few on the list that wouldn't be HORRIBLE. Maybe as middle names? lol.

Oh, and Bram isn't bad, if paired with a more common middle name.

Horus is the egyptian god. Horace is a different name.

Isn't Horace = Horatio, poet of ancient Rome?

My husband and yours must be related. He wanted me to agree to Paulus today. Blech. And his first choice for a girl was Autumn Trinity. She should get a free pair of pasties and a dancing pole for when she grows up to be a stripper.

I feel you.

...and you're right. Horus is a spelling :)

My husband's neither!!!! He just has bad taste in names.

It may be genetic....his sister wants to use Seamus (Gaelic: SHAY-mus) for her baby. She's afraid that the way it's spelled, people will call him SEE-mus, which is too close to semen....and her last name is Koch. Bad idea.

I like Gavin, but the hubby's a hater. I think I should win this one, though....our first one's named after him.

Parker's not horrible, like someone else said, just don't mention the Spidey connection. ;)

If you're looking for the Egyptian god, Horus is the one you want. :)

I actually like Klaus, because of the A Series of Unfortunate Events series. ;) Amadeus [is he a Mozart fan?] is an okay name [for a middle name, that is.] HAHA GALAHAD. He MUST be a King Arthur fan. And may I ask, where does Arturios come from? I've heard of Arturo but never of Arturios...

Aurora Christmas is kinda... bad. >> Perhaps you can change the middle name; like, come up with a compromise or something.

Nice :) I've never been much of a King Arthur fan but I've always been this huge Harry Potter geek [and it shows!]

Also, I love your icon ;D

The only thing I can think of is that Arturios might be the Greek version?

LOL @ Wolf AND Wulf.

Do you like Gabriel? If so, I'd hang on to that. Aurora's okay, but definitely not paired with Christmas. So odd.

And if it makes you feel any better, my FH wanted to name our son "Lefty" for a while. For a real first name. Talk about awful.

Bram <~~ i like it
Gabriel <~~ love it
Vlad <~~ it's up there with Ishvan for me. lol
Davai <~~ unique, so i like it
Arturios <~~ do believe this is the roman form of Arthur
Parker <~~ ok, see i think of Buffy, but it's a good name if the origin is omitted at intros.
Bruce <~~ see 2nd part of above statement
Thor <~~ see below for why i love it.
Amadeus <~~ great name too.
Raphael

ok, those names are not too TOO far out there, but as stated by others, IF PAIRED W/ A MORE 'NORMAL'/COMMON NAME... then your child can have the option of going with w/e name won't get them teased to the point of anger. ya know?

and one of my good freinds has a nephew named Thor, and it suits him. it REALLY does. ...mostly b/c his father was a 6'8" man from Norway... lol and Thor has platinum white blonde hair and eyes that resemble the caribbean ocean in their blueness. lol :-)

the girls name tho? yeah.... if you can't compromise with him, fake agreement, then when in labor scream him out of the room, just long enough to name your child the name YOU want. (the ensuing fight will prolly be bad, i won't lie. lol, but it's always been my standpoint that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission)

just a thought... lol

I like Lycan but I don't think I'd use it for a child. :) Wolf maybe as a middle name. Arturios reminds me of my fiances World of Warcraft druid Artaios. I like Parker. And thats about it. lol. Aurora Christmas is horrid! I wish you all the luck in the world when you have to name your child! lol :)

Haha, davai means "come on/let's go" or just "let's" in Russian. Not like that would be a big deal to you if you aren't Russian, but if Russians saw that they would lol.
;D
