I'm new!

I'm new here (saw the community on the spotlight) and I thought I'd share my names. I am getting married in 8 months and my fiance and I have been discussing baby names. Unique names are important to both of us, but not names that our child would get made fun of for, like what happened to my siblings and myself. My name is Roxanne, and my siblings names are Rachael (harmless enough, but she almost got named Sunshine), Navieve, Josiah, Garris, and Leighton (pronounced Lay-ton). So with this in mind, my fiance and I have come up with a few names for our future children. We like:
Adrian
Grace
Samantha
Madelynn (different spelling though)
Thomas
Nathanial
Althea

What do you think? I need more boy's names, if you have one you like, let me know :)

I like all of them except Althea, and even that isn't too bad. For boys' names (this goes for girls too, actually, but you seem to have enough of those) I'd suggest keeping it simple. These days, with everyone giving their kids OMGUNEEK names, a Robert or Paul or Bradley is far more likely to stand out than yet another Aiden/Jayden/Braeden clone or whatever.

I love Samantha(maybe Lynn for a middle name?) and Grace(maybe Kathryn). For a boy: Samuel, Carson, and Liam. A girl name, well it could be a boy to but I love it for a girl: Finley(maybe Grace for middle).

I love Nathaniel and Madelynn. I've wanted to name my first son Nathaniel for years, but after becoming best friends with a Nathan, I think it would be creepy to have a kid with the same name.

My fiance wants to name one of our sons nathaniel, from one of his favorite characters from a book series he loves. Yes he's a geek but I love him just the same lol

I think you have some great names on that list--they're timeless, strong-sounding, and lend themselves well to nicknames.

I particularly like Grace and Nathanial, with Althea and Thomas as seconds.

eh, I'm not a fan of either. I kind of like Damien, but I'm weird and hate it when people name their kids a name that starts with the same letter as their last name (like Darrin Dean). And my married name will start with a D, so I'd have to absolutely LOVE any name strting with a D to even concider it.
