I *LOVE* names. I have a giant list of names I've fallen in love with over the years, and whenever I have to see someone's ID at work [alcohol or checks], I'll write their name down on my arm so I can add to my list.

Sternum is not a name I would give a child, but I've become in love with it through a movie and a friend. Most kids don't even know what a sternum IS when they're at name-teasing-age.

why, thank you. my first name is pronounced "shuh-NEEK" and my middle is "nuh-STAH-see-ah", which isn't really like "a-nuh-STAY-zjuh", but they look close enough for people to get confused. my middle name comes from an actress who was famous around the time my mother was pregnant with me, nastassja kinsky (or maybe its kinski? i think its the former), and my sister thought she was pretty and had a cool name.

I'm so careful about names. I always remember being picked on as a kid for my name, and i know how bad it sucks. I saw one name on your list that reminded me of a friend of mine, and though i LOVE LOVE his name, he had a lot of cruel jokes directed at him from kindegarten until right now, and he just finished becoming a paramedic and people are still mean about his name...he cant get away from it. My friends name is Galen, I guess boys will be boys, and im sure you can figure out why he was teased, not that there is anything wrong with being gay, I think its totally fine...but just a word of caution with that one.

Maybe it's just the area I've grown up in, but I've never met anyone who's been teased for their name, including a Galen and Gaston.
