On TLC, there is this show called Kids By The Dozen. Last night they profiled the Arndts, a family with fourteen kids from Missouri

Yep, thirteen boys and ONE girl.

The family is Christian; Dad is a minister and they runs an at-home church. They also have a family business of court reporting. They built their own house. All fourteen kids live at home and Mom homeschools all the kids.

They seemed a little less robotic and creepy than the Duggars. Each child seemed like a normal kid and had his/her own personality.

I watched that. The names are boring but I like most of them enough.

This is off topic.. but did their baseball fundraiser thing get rained out at the end?

With the exception of the parents [as far as I know], they gave them all names from the Bible. I've never been fond of most Biblical names [just because they're so common], but at least they stuck to it!

Also: The Duggars creep me out. A lot. I don't think they're fully human.

Did the show/website just not provide what the rest of their middle names were, or did the parents really stop giving middle names after Luke Joseph? Cracks me up if that's the case. They were like, "Screw the middle names, we don't have enough names to go around to begin with." :)

Haha, no. There was like a trivia section and it only listed those 4 middle names. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they were just like, "Screw it."

I've seen their web-site before--wish I could see the show about them! I didn't think the Duggars were really creepy. Unusual, yes. And I do like the more zany side of this family. :)
I come from a homeschooled family, and I'm one of eight, so I really appreciate these kinds of families. (I also like Bible names!)
