we are getting two new dogs
two girls...one is golden the other one black
we need names starting with A
what do you think would fit ?

here are our pets :

I have a rabbit called Baby!

Aurora for the golden one, because it means Dawn, and the dawn is... golden.
and for the black one... dunno.

Amity = Friendship
Ada = Happy (and I think it means Noble too.)

Both 'Friendship,' and 'Happy,' make me think of Golden Retrievers.

...couldn't find any A names meaning 'black' or 'dark'..

i was wondering that too... i always thought golden retrievers had to be golden?

i have a chihuahua too! his name is chewbacca (but we call him chewie). you should join chihuahuas, it's a great community!

Yeah...I've heard of golden/black lab mixes so I thought maybe that might be it. Or a flat-coated retriever, which looks kind of like a black golden retriever, but I didn't think so 'cause they're uncommon.

yes golden retriever must be golden...
but my pepper is a golden one..
sorry I cant tell you why I wrote golden retriever when I wrote about the babies...my fault sorry..should be retriever only...
we didnt want to have babies but ..well...our pepper was too fast *lol*
and know this lady has 5 babies...we´ll take 2 and she will keep one...
our pepper is a golden retriever but the "lady" is black..(labrador retriever)
there are three black ones and two golden ones... I always thought there could be only one colour but..well...surprise ^^
