I feel like I'm repeating others, but I'm very glad I found this community as well =D I'm not planning on having children any time soon, but I just really love names =).
My fave boy/girl names:
girls: April, Sadie, Maeve, Luz
boys: Otis, Lucas...(It usually takes sometime for me to like a boy's name =P)

My mother's Colombian and her name is Luz Marina. In Spanish, Luz means "light" and Marina means "Ocean". Light of the ocean. :o)



And it's pronounced "Luce".

It would be pronounced like the Spanish word 'luz', so that would be 'looz' indeed...but I'm living in the Netherlands, so that problem wouldn't really come up...but thanks for the remark anyway, I wouldn't have thought of that!

That's so cool. Actually, one of your choices of names is my name, but do your future girl a HUGE favor: don't name her after more than one month. Trust me, I'm 21 and the jokes still do not end. I love my name, but unless you want her to be constantly joked about it then please keep it to one month ;).

I'm personally fond of the names Aria, Sonnet, Trevor, Victor, etc. Weird, I know.
