I picked the name when I was like 17 or something, and when I met my husband we'd been together no longer than 3 months when I informed him our first son would be named Linus.. we decided on my husband's first name as a middle name and Linus Christopher will be 2 a month from tomorrow!

I love it. My sister's name is Caroline, and when we were kids we used to call her Linus. I know it's supposed to be a boy's name, but that's okay. I like it for either gender.

A couple I know named their twin boys Linus and Felix because they decline regularly in Latin and because dad is a tech geek. But I'll say this...I don't know any other kids with their names and I know a ton of Aidens.

I think Matt Damon's character in Ocean's Eleven (and Twelve and Thirteen) is named Linus, and while it does, at first make me think of Peanuts, you see it on him and start thinking away from Peanuts. I think I could easily use it on a child, but don't think my husband would go for it.
