Mar. 23rd, 2007 03:40 pmDo you think Aerith and Araceli are too similar for sisters?
I think some similarity is part of the charm but my boyfriend disagrees.
I don't think it's overwhelming unless they both decide to go by the nickname Ari someday and how likely is that? lol
Also do you think Araceli sounds better pronounced ah-rah-SE-lee or ah-rah-THE-lee?

Date: 2007-03-23 03:55 pm (UTC)It's very pretty, and yes I do think they're lsightly too similar.
I don't think they whole cutesty sisters with similar name thing is such a good idea..
My favourite girls names begin with A too, and I'd go so far as saying I wouldn't use two A names, even though I love them more than any others..

Date: 2007-03-23 09:34 pm (UTC)I prefer it with the C pronounced like S instead of th. Unless you are Spaniards/Living in Spain/into Spanish culture, I think I would avoid the "th" pronunciation ; )

Erith is a pretty name though.
