What do you think of these combos for a set of boy siblings?  Can you catch the reference?  It isn't hard at all.

Thatcher Huckleberry
Finn Thomas
Sawyer Beckett

Personally, as someone who enjoys literature, I could see myself using these for my boys.  I think they are cool names, but I know I won't have three boys, I'm just not that lucky.

Well, the reference is about as subtle as an anvil...

Finn Thomas is ok. I really dislike the other four names though.

It's a little too much. Finn Thomas works, though I don't like "Finn" much.

I am a huge fan of Twain (I even took a class focusing on him in college) and I would probably only use one of those names. I can see using the names of different characters from different books, but not from the same book.

I like Sawyer Beckett if Beckett is a surname and not a middle name.

My friend's daughters are Emma and Tess - also very literary.

Yeah, but not from the same series of books, by the same author.

No, but it's still a way a nice way to that - the literary thing.

*raises hand enthusiastically* I know I know! Mark twain books. I like the combos myself. They'd mesh together perfectly.

I like them all except Huckleberry. It's just a little much. Actually, a lot of those names are on my list too.

Beckett Thomas, Finnegan Jude, and Henry Thatcher.

Way, WAY too much.

I think this is ridiculous. It's fine to name one child after a beloved literary character, but two or three (especially from the same book/series of books) is TOO MUCH.

Worth considering if you really love the theme, but at least consider your kids might not.

Also, as well it being one of those trendy medieval job names that IMHO are getting old,
I cannot emphasize enough how unpopular Thatcher would be in England.
