So today we found out

We're expecting a girl. Which means Gabriel is out, and we're not ready to give up on a boy so we're holding it in reserver (ie - no Gabrielle, Gabriella etc.)

He likes
Alexis
Alexie
Alex
But is open minded.

I like:
Cecilia
Lilian
Ava

I mostly like Jane for a middle name. I'm not set, but pretty fond of it. So any ideas? _______ Jane Fischer? Sisters Megan Patricia (adopted) Morgan Rain and Paige Elizabeth

EDIT - welcoming any ideas outside of those!

Big Sister Morgan (4) has suggested:

Paige (she apparently wants to make things easy on her self)
Woods (I'm not sure where that came from)
and Dora the Explorer

I like Cecilia Jane :)

Alexandria is a gorgeous version of "Alex".

Ava is one of my favorite names.

I also like "Avery".

I love Ava and Lillian. But I've always hated with a strong passion the name Jane.

Alexis Jane or Ava Jane would be my picks out of those

Lilian Alexis sounds gorgeous to me

Make that two votes for Dora the Explorer!! Lol, jk.

I love Cecilia and oddly enough, I do like Woods. But then again, I think October would be a lovely middle name for a little girl :)

I am loving this name, so I'm going to second it.

of course, I'd totally keep Dora the Explorer as your back up name in case you can't decide on anything else. or Boots even would do. lol

I think Lillian Jane is gorgeous, and Lily Jane is incredibly adorable!

I really hate Alexis on a girl, and really all Alex names are so overused. I keep running into Alexes of all ages and genders everywhere. Ava is a bit common for my tastes, but I really like the Hebrew name Aviva (means "spring"), which is similar to Ava but completely underexposed. Cecilia is beautiful. What about Cecily? Cecily Jane is really pretty. Lilian is nice. Similar names: Lila, Lilith.

some ideas:
Gemma
Amy
Farrah
Felicity
Audrey (my favorite)
Maia
Nadia
Phoebe
Blair
Elise
Bethany
Melanie
Amelia
Laurel
Miranda
Natalie
Sabine
Veronica
Anya
Celia
Daisy
Zara
Clio
Esme
Rhea

I'd recommend The Baby Name Wizard by Laura Wattenberg if you're stuck for ideas.

I don't like your husbands choices :\

I like your names a lot, though like someone else said, Lily Jane is adorable and works better than Lillian. But I suppose you could keep Lillian and NN her Lily :] Cecilia is also very pretty.

Congrats! I'm expecting a little girl as well :D
My favorites are Alexis and Lilian. Alexis is on my list of possible names (we haven't decided on a name yet) and Lilian is close to a couple names that are also on my list. Alex would also be a cute girl's name.
And for the record, my 6 year-old twins suggested the name "Big Bird". LOL XD

I suggest Ava Alexis, it sounds very pretty.

Dora Jane would be pretty.

Cecelia Alexis
Ava Jane
Cecelia Jane
Cecelia Jane woods

I think the name 'Woods' would be really cool, lol.

I like Ava.

Lilian Jane ♥ ♥ nn: Lily Jane! b-e-a-utiful!

I don't like Alexis. There are too many Alexes in the world already. We don't need one more.

Out of your names suggested, I think Ava fits best with Morgan and Paige.

As for "Woods" you obviously can't name a child that, but it might be cute to go for a name that has "woods" or "trees" in the meaning, such as Dara (means Oak Tree in Gaelic) or Daphne (Greek mythology: she was turned into a tree). Daphne Jane sounds REALLY cute. Anyway, that way you could tell the baby her sister named her, and it would be a cute family story.
