My boyfriend's ex-wife thought it would be a good idea to send us a birth announcement (via myspace) for her new son...

Peyton Anthony Taylor...

I hate it. No, its not just because I hate her, haha. Peyton reminds me of a girl's name and I don't like the spelling, even though there's no there way to spell it really...I'm also not a fan of people's initials spelling out words or names, but that could just be me...

What do you think?

I'd have to agree with Peyton being a girls name.. But Anthony Taylor is ok. I also don't like when people's name spell something.

I don't like Peyton for a boy or a girl, but especially not for a boy. With our last initial being D, I've always been careful not to spell anything with our kids' initials, but I had a cousin whose last name started with M and her name was Georgia Elizabeth. I thought that was kinda neat.

Peyton doesn't strike me as more of a girl's name... however, it does seem awfully feminine if a guy has it.

And, I don't particularly like the name.

I'm not a fan of peyton (boy or girl) and anthony... i just know so many losers named anthony that no matter what it meant... i would still be turned off by it.

Taylor on the other hand, I'm a little partial to, considering it's my son's name. (Though i cannot STAND when people name their daughter's Taylor. It drives me nuts).

Peyton is a unisex name.... like Taylor.

Peyton Manning for instance. I like the name. More commonly than not, it is used as a male name though.

I think of Peyton Manning, the football player. Personally, I love it.

My initials before I was married spelled out SIR. I thought it was cool, espeically when I worked for a male boss whose initials spelled out MRS.

But I wont be doing it on purpose with our baby

I love Peyton Manning (uh, who is ALL guy, LOL), so I love the name Peyton. It's way more masculine to me. But then again, so is Robin. Heh.

I love the whole thing, and I don't think PAT is that big of a deal.

Peyton is feminine to me. I don't really like it for either sex.

I like Peyton... don't like Taylor.

Why would you have your boyfriend's ex-wife on your myspace friends list? No way in hell would I add my husband's ex girlfriends...

Haha, I meant I don't like Anthony. (Or Taylor, but that's not an option.)

I think its really cute actually. Except for the two middle names thing, I have two, and really, its rediculous.

LOL, I thought the ... meant "and so on", I just figured you weren't posting the last name since so many people don't. Well then I think its great, I just hate having two middle names sometimes.

All the Peytons I knew were little girls. Personally, I don't overly care for the name. I'm more of a traditionalist :)
