after finally getting both of my twins back to sleep i cant seem to fall asleep. oh the joys of motherhood.

i just found out that im pregnant again which is both a good thing and a bad thing. good being that all three kids will be close in age and bad being that all three kids will be close in age. i have started thinking about names because that is my favorite part. my twins are named lily grace and jack henry so i want something that will go well with those names.

my top choices for girls are: ava charlotte, emily kate, anna claire, olivia catherine

charlotte is after my grandmother and catherine after my mother and my name is claire so theres sort of a family thing going.

for boys i like-william atticus

any suggestions? as you can see i need help in the boys name department. my husbands name is matthew but i just can seem to think up any names that would go good with matthew as a middle name.

it's really hard to stay away from plain names when matthew is the middle name. i tried to think of names that are as vintage as the ones you've all ready named your little ones. i looooove your names. i think they're beautiful. i hope i added some perspective and help.

ps if you look at babynames.com and search popular boys names by decade starting with 1880 and working up to 1950, that might help you. because you're going retro/vintage, you won't find those sorts of names in the 2000 or even post 50s lists.

try looking at a list of character names from shakespeare and dickens. no wait, hear me out. they might give you some ideas in directions you want or don't want to go. trust me, it's inspiring.

My nephew's name is Easton Matthew, after his dad. I'm not sure if this is a good match or not, because I hear "EASTON MATTHEW!!" everytime he gets in trouble, so I'm pretty used to it. lol.

i really like all of the names you have listed for girls, and as long as you don't mind ava and emily being super popular, i think those are my favorites. i love the sound of emily kate and it just sounds really good with your other kids' names. if you don't want a super popular name, i'd go with anna claire because anna seems to be more uncommon lately.

william atticus has to be the coolest name i've heard in a while, i have to say :). i also like:
