Okay, so as I was coming up with (and making fun of) a few examples of  'New Age' names in a comment in a recent post, I thought of a name I actually liked it.

So.. what do you all think of 'Prism'?      Funnily, both 'Prism' and 'Matrix' make me think of rock.

Lol, I hate that name so much. I think I'm liking the sound more than the meaning. OO! I should have triplets and name the Crystal, Quartz, and Prism!

Me too! Lord, it's grown on me even more since I thought it up a few hours ago-- and my husband even likes it! Wow, this is the first name I can see competing with the name we already have picked out. I can just see our family's response. Good we're not pregnant yet.

Nope. If I saw a kid named that, I'd want them and their parents tested for drugs on the spot. It just screams "I was soooo baked when my baby was born!"

lol. Well, I do attribute giving my daughter the middle name 'Sherman', after my recently (at the the time) deceased cat of 14 years, to the high levels of morphine I was on following my c-section!

hahaha that's the exact reason I cite when I explain my daughter's nickname. "hey, it was the morphine talking and the name just kind of stuck!" lol

Prism was the GLBT club at my college ... their logo was a prism with a rainbow coming out of it. :P
