Hey all. I'm new here. *waves*

I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first child, and having a difficult time coming up with names. This difficulty has increased greatly ever since my brother had a baby girl the other day and STOLE MY BABY GIRL NAME. The name is Violet; it was one of my top three girl names, along with Scarlet and Juliet. Obviously, I like names that end in the "ette" sound, or at least, end in the letter T (for example, I also like Celeste.)

Does anyone have any suggestions for more names that end in the letter T? I am looking for boy and girl names. I would love some suggestions for boy names that end in the "ette" sound but are still masculine. The only one I can think of so far is Beckett.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Good suggestions, by the way! I like all the girl names even though some don't actually end in a T. You know, it's weird. I also like a few names that end in a silent T, like Margot, Peridot, and Monet. I don't know what my obsession is with names ending in T, it just seems I'm very attracted to them.

honestly, i see nothing wrong with you naming your daughter Violet, too. my mom and her cousin are both Robin and my brother and my cousin are both John and theres no problem between either of them.

I'm naming my baby (due march 9th) Lily and my stepsister wants to name her future baby Lilian, and we're perfectly fine with it.

but i cant offer any more names that havent been offered up.
