Today while watching Opera I fell in love with a name. One of her guests was named Sara Kate. I'm really a fan of double first names for some reason. and I LOVE this name! I was thinking Sara Kathryn (since my name is Kathryn) and calling her Sara Kate. What do you think?

Opera? You must have meant Oprah....Sara Kate is a beautiful, yet popular name.

Wait, I take that back; she was a Sara Jane. . . I like both combos though.

My name is Sarah Katharine and all my childhood I went by Sarah Kate. Pretty much EVERYONE tried to hyphenate it, which was annoying, but it could have been worse. At least they spelled it right (maybe some questions on "is there an H?"). My family still calls me Sarah Kate, to distingush me from my Aunt Sara (who is a Sara Jane). My take on it... Sarah Kate sounds like a little girl name to me, and I hate being one of a million Sarahs everywhere.
