so lately I have two names stuck in my head and I wanted to know what you thought of them.

Catherine Elizabeth Stoltz (Stoltz being the lastname)

and

Catherine Sophia Stoltz

what do you guys think of each of those names? Why do you like them? Which one do you like best? Why you hate them? etc.

both are very pretty. i think i like catherine elizabeth better, even though i like sophia better if it were a first name.

what do you think about katherine with a k? i always thought k names looked more feminine and prettier.

I think Catherine Elizabeth is a little too boring just because Elizabeth is SUCH a common middle name. I think Catherine Sophia sounds better, but I'm not big on the alliteration of Sophia & Stoltz.

Catherine Elizabeth- the names sound better together althuogh I have to say I definitely like Sophia the most out of all those names, and I hate the name Catherine :-/

Far as the best of the two I'd have to say Catherine Sopia; because with Elizabeth it's a bit long.

I like the way Catherine Elizabeth sounds better. It seems to flow better. Catherine isn't one of my favorite names. Nor is Elizabeth. But that's mostly because of people I've met with those names that I didn't like. Elizabeth IS very common, but that's not what matters. What you like is what matters. If you like both those names, then go with it. I just personally think the extra syllable in the middle name Elizabeth flows better with Catherine than Sophia does.

Have you considered her nicknames? She may be called Cathy or Cat for sure. I think Cat is a cute nickname...even better when Catherine starts with a K and then it would be Kat. I think that's pretty cute. I would probably call her that if it was me, lol.

I prefer Cathering Sophia.
I've never liked the name Catherine, ever since i was small it was always one of my least favourite names. But Sophia is less common as a middle name than Elizabeth, so i'd go with that.

Catherine Elizabeth is nice, but I have cousins (sisters) who are named Catharine and Elizabeth. So, they look really weird together as one name.

My mother's name is Catherine Elizabeth, and her initials are the same-- CES, Catherine Elizabeth Spillane. I'm biased, but it really works for her. I prefer the pronunciation of Catherine Elizabeth Stoltz as it rolls off the tongue better that Catherine Sophia Stoltz. Sophia Stoltz is fine, but not preceded by Cahterine. Maybe save it for another possible daughter's first name?
