I don't like all these names, but he does, and I'm trying to come up with some more options that he might like

he seems to like older names.. look through the social security site to see what else was popular in the 1920s or thereabouts, and see if you/he likes any of those.

There are a LOT of repeat names in both our families (think IV's and V's), and we're trying to avoid using names of close uncles or cousins. But, that is an excellent suggestion!
