I didn't even think that Davina could be a feminine form of David. All the vowel sounds are completely different, and then there's that added "A" at the end and the "N" instead of the "D". It just has the first two consonents in common. But it disappointed me that I found Davina to be just a feminine form of David when I went to behindthename.com. Even though the definition sucks, I still like it, lol. I thought it would mean something along the lines of "divine" but.. no. I should ask her why her parents decided to name her that.
