Booker
Mordecai

Booker and Mordecai are actually two names I really want to use on dogs and/or cats.

The receptionist at my doctor's office is named September, and I always think she has a pretty name. I also like Booker and Mordecai.

Not a fan of Kansas or Whitley. Leland is just okay.

Girls:
September - horrible. I can't imagine being stuck with the "name" September. There aren't even any acceptable nicknames for it! Awful.
Kansas - AWFUL!! Wow. Kansas is thought of as a hick-state and country... it isn't even pretty sounding OR feminine sounding.

Boys:
Whitley nn Whit - I like this
Leland - too country
Booker - huh... no way. Awful.
Mordecai - what?!?!

kansas is kinda pretty for a girl... i wouldn't name my kid that, though.
september is just a mouthful.

whitley is okay but sounds kinda feminine to me, reminds me of whitney.
the rest of the boys names i don't like at all...

but name your animals anything you want, pets names should be cute and fun, i think. i have a chihuahua named chewbacca and everyone says, "WHAT?!" when i tell them his name but i love it. and we call him chewie for short, which is even cuter :)

I went to high school with a girl named Kansas, and I always liked it. It suited her. I like Whitley, but not on a boy. The only Whitley's I've ever known have been girls. Booker & Mordecai are definitely better suited for animals. I don't like Leland at all. And I like September, but I wouldn't name my own kid that. It'd be one of those that if I heard it on someone, I'd say, "Oh, that's cute!"
