My cousin had a baby girl this morning!

Her name is Eve Lola

What do you think?

I'm not sure. It's ok but not really my style. I think Lola is kinda tacky and Eve has always sounded a bit "cold" to me. She'll probably go by Evie which is prettier I think.

Hmmm. I like Evie better, too.

I can't help but to feel like Eve Lola sounds a bit like Ebola.

I was about to comment the exact thing w/ the ebola. Poor kid.

I like it - it's not a 'wow that's a beautiful name' but it's not horrible.

I've come to like the name Lola though. My mom's friend just had a baby girl and named her Lola so I've grown a soft spot in my heart for the name.

Eh, they don't flow together at all in my opinion..
and Evie lola sounds even worse..

Bah.

It doesn't really flow. I think switched around to Lola Eve would sound much better. Both the names by themselves are nice IMO.

I agree.
It sounds too.. heavy.. because "Eve" and "Lo" are both kind of stretchy long sounds together..

I like Eve, and I like Lola. I don't like Eve Lola. I have to go with the Ebola comment.

I think Lola is pretty, actually.
But Eve Lola sounds kind of choppy to me.
Evie Lola sounds sort of ehh. Evie's cute on its own, though.

I love Eve (though I love Eva more) and I really like Lola, but they don't sound right together. I think that maybe because Eve is so short, it needs a longer middle name.

hmm not a fan. Nothing really wrong with it (tho I do agree with you about Lola. I've never liked that name) it's just kinda... dull.

I read that as Evil Ola...but I like the name Lola a lot.

I actually like it because, well, it's different! It's not another "Isabella" or "Ava".

Evie is adorable.

I think it would sound better if the name was Lola Eve. I don't think Lola is a trashy name, I know a few people with the name and I think it's cute. I like Evie too.

I LOVE the name Eve.
It's my lovely, gorgeous sister-in-law's name or else I would use it for a future daughter.

I think Eve and Lola are very pretty names. I don't like thme together in that order; as an above comment said, Lola Eve seems to flow better.

I think it's really nice. Eve isn't a favorite of mine, but I think it has some great qualities and I'm fine with someone else using it, even if I wouldn't pick it myself. And the two names in the combo play off each other very well.

I'd say it's safely better than a good 85% of the combos I see these days.
