My maternal grandparents both have just one given name. I have already decided to use my deceased grandfather's name for my first born son, however, would still like to honor my grandmother. The problem is that I don't really like her name... it's Sylvia. Can anyone think of ways I can *change* or use this name??

FYI my current name list is:
Kenneth
Asher
Xaviar
Hamish
Lucas
(middle names James, Thomas, Daniel)
Alexis
Millani
Isabella
Georgia
Ruby
(mn Caitlin/Kate, Emma, Maree, Elizabeth, Grace)

you could honor sylvia by using something similar to her name for a boy also. maybe something like cyrus or silas?

Silver is a pretty out there but cool middle name.

Isabella Silver, that's rather stunning actually.

I love Lucas Daniel so much.

Xaviar?! It makes me think of caviar. Is it supposed to be pronounced like Xavier? If so, why not spell it properly. BTW, just in case, Xavier is supposed to be said like zey'vyer.

I love the name Sil for a boy. It has been a hype here in Holland, but that's over now. I kinda like it but wouldnt use it due to the popularity once.. But in the usa i dont think there was a Sil hype.. so maybe thats an option?

Asher Lucas, Ruby,. Isabella and Xavier are love (I assume Xaviar is a different spelling for Xavier?)

i dont like Alexis for a girl and i prefer Xaviar to be spelled like Xavier (if that's the way you pronounce it)
