I think it looks really pretty, and I was just wondering if there's a certain way to say it, or, like Mia, it's pretty much whatever.

Well my name is Lina, and people always go to pronounce it lin-ah but its pronounced leen-ah.

My motheres reasoning is Tina. You say teen-uh not tine-uh ect. So really its how you want to pronounce it, ive always heard it my-ah, but it could be may-uh too.

Leen-ah is much prettier than Lin-ah.
I do the same.
If I see a name that looks similar to another (Sara, Tara, even though those are obvious), I just rhyme them.

I have a Lena in my dance class (I'm the teacher) and I always call her Lay-na. I can't seem to think fast enough to remember that she says it Lee-na. Dunno.
