Short names for girls

OK, I found out I will be having a girl this may.
Her siblings are named
Rian and Kera (both Celtic spellings of the names)

A teneative name we have chosen is Shakira Rose Parker (Rian and Kera have a diffrent last name)

forgetting that Shakira is the name of a fairly famous person, I think it's a very pretty name, however it's length troubles me.
My own name is Only 5 letters long.
and the kids only have 4 letters.
Daddy even has a 5 letter name.

I was thinking of having Shakira as the middle name, and trying to find a nice short first name.

so any suggestions for at max 5 letter girl names?

Are you pronouncing Kera as KEER-uh or CARE-uh (or something entirely different)?

If Kera is KEER-uh, then to me it would be too close to Shakira (shuh-KEER-uh). The only difference is the "shuh" sound up front.

I don't think it matters. If you like the name and you've decided on it, changing it because it's two letters too long to match the rest of your family seems stupid. It would strike me as out of place if it were, say, 11 letters. And if you really wanted a shorter first name, why wouldn't you just use Rose, instead of hunting around for a whole new one? I think Rose is a beautiful name, and you hardly ever see it as a first name anymore. Rose Shakira Parker would be nice.

i would have Rose as the first name, but it is actully the name of my step-mother (her name is Rose Ann) having it as a middle name seems alot less like we are doing it to honor her. (sorry I just don't like the woman)
I guess I'm just being silly. Everyone likes the name, except my grandmother, but really it only matters if my husband and I like it.

oh, I do like them though :) Emma is actully one of the names I've been kind of wanting to use, though everyone will think I'm naming her after my grandmother.
