If it was Amberly, I think it would be adorable sounding, but these "ee" names tacked on to other names (Makes me think of CariDee) arent rubbing me the right way
It sounds like a horrible smash of Amber & Kimberly (neither of which I happen to like anyways). I do always think of the ditzy connotations as well and I so agree with the person that said it's like an adverb. lol
I've seen Amberly before, and I like it better than Amberlee, but at least Amberlee looks like a name while Amberly does like more of a word than a name.
It bugs me when people give their sons nice strong traditional names and then make something up for the girls. It's like they didn't take the girl seriously.
