Miley/Maile???
So randomly over the last few days i keep hearing the name Miley - i read it in a book, met a girl with the name, and of course there is Miley Cyrus -
I'm not planning on having kids anytime soon, so chances are by the time i have kids this will be in the "super insanely trendy" category - but regardless - how would you spell it? And what are your feelings on the name...
Spellings: Keep in mind i would prounounce it My-Leigh
Miley
Maile
Myleigh
Mylee
I figure cause of the proununciation i would go with Miley, but the girl i met spelled it Maile, which is pretty but to me would be said Mail (like post) lee

As far as my personal preferences, when I see Maile, I would pronounce it just like you said, mail-ee. And visually, the others look terrible, so I'd have to go with Miley. I think it's a cute name, but not something I like enough to use on any future children.

Her voice is also really deep for a little girl, which weirds me out.

If I used the name, I'm not sure what I'd use for the spelling. Myleigh is too close to the end of my own name, but it's the one I like the most.

Xavier was ruined for me in the same way. Far too many Ex-avier pronouncers out there for me.

What do you think of Myleen as a name? There's a singer here (UK) with this name.

I really like the name, though. It's like a classier version of Kylee.

Growing up in Hawaii and knowing plenty of Maile's, I'd find it rather odd to see any other spelling variation.
