What does everyone think of these names? I absolutely adore Clemetine, but I have had some negative comments about it.

Finn is probably my favourite boys name, its sort of like a tribute to my brother who was called 'Finn' until he was about 6 years old or so. My Dad wanted to call him Fingle, but my Mum said NO WAY! But Finn was still his nick name.

My partner is Persian, so ideally I would like to have a traditional Persian name as a middle name, I will think about that later though.

From your girls list I like Audrey and Mirabelle the best. I must admit I cannot hear the name Clementine without "My Darling Clementine" going through my head! Without that connection I might like it, I don't know. It's just ingrained too deeply in my brain.

Of your boys names my favorites are Finn and Maddox. Jarvis just sounds odd to me, but maybe because I haven't heard it much before?

Jarvis is a very English name maybe thats why? Im Australian so I get the best from both worlds. Both English & American names are popular here.

Its hard because I want something thats strong, unique, funky - yet not so funky that no one can pronouce it.

I love Clementine, it's one of my favorite names. Mirabelle is okay, as is Penelope. I have a soft spot for Scarlett, and I don't like Willow very much because it seems a bit cheesy to me but it isn't a terrible name or anything, but Meadow and Phoenix are ridiculous. Just imagining having to introduce myself with those two names makes me cringe. Audrey is lovely too, very classic.

The only boys' name of yours I have a problem with is Phoenix, as stated above. I don't like Maddox either, every time I see it all I see is "mad ox." Jarvis really isn't my thing, I find the sound unattractive, but it's okay as a name. I like Elliot and the two Finn names are okay.

I love Clementine, absolutely love, though it might be hard to pull off if the kid wasn't terribly bright, or terribly attractive. My mum loves it though.

I like Audrey- but I don't like how it's Audrey Hepburnish, because everyone's crazy over her now.

I never considered Phoenix for a girl until a couple of years ago I had a little girl in my class (im a Kinder assistant) and her name was Phoenix and it just suited her so well. But I guess its probably more suited to a boy when I think about it. I am one of those people who kind of like boy-ish names for girls. Frankie is one of my favourites (but I know someone who just had a girl and named her Frankie, so there goes that idea)

Clementine makes me think of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which is fine because I love that movie. Jarvis gets me to Jarvis Cocker, and Willow reminds me of Willow from Buffy. I think a lot of people would have similar associations, but that's not really a problem unless you hate any of those things. I like Audrey and Elliot a lot, as well.

I think I fell in love with Clementine after I watched that movie, and its just stuck with me ever since. I love Pulp, so the name Jarvis reminding me of Jarvis Cocker isnt a problem either. I dont really like the character Willow very much, she kind of annoys me (the show does in general) so that may become a problem. Thanks for your thoughts :)

clementine and finn are near the top of my list (although both for a girl, but thats just me)

i also adore penelope (i had a friend in college named that whos family called her poppy) and elliot.

meadow, mirabelle, scarlett and maddox are also cute, although it seems to me that scarlett is becoming popular?

max is my favorite boys name, and would consider maddox as a fuller version, if it werent for that whole angelina thing.
