French words as baby names
Jolie, Aimee, J'aime, Belle, Nouvel...
Pretty, Loved, I love, Beautiful, New...
Does anyone know of a database of French word-names? French words, as those above, made to be names? If that makes any sense.

They say that Nouvel is named after Brad's favorite architect, it's funny how it's also semi-French (I say this because often we'd use Nouveau for the masculine, and Nouvelle for the feminine)...but now that I've done some research, I'm even more interested in the French word-names that other people use/have seen used.

Isn't it either nouveau or nouvelle? I didn't think nouvel was a word in French.

Nouvel is often used as an adjective... Nouvel An, Nouvel Article, and so on....you are right that Nouveau and Nouvelle are the most often used words, but Nouvel is still a French word.
