So my friend was telling me how he was going to go shopping with his friend and her 3 kids...

named...

Romeo (boy)
Anthony (boy)
and...
Diamond (girl)

I just think that Diamond is an awful name....I'm not too found of Romeo either, but its not THAT bad.

There is a strip club near where I live called Diamonds...

But even without that, I'd probably still think "stripper" when I heard that name. Ruby, Opal and Pearl are nice, but Diamond is reeaaaally pushing it.

I used to work as a ShotGirl at a strip club and there were actually two girls that went by "Diamond" haha. There was also a "Trinity" and others of similar theme.

I always liked Trinity not sure why but not something I would name an actual child personally.

Oh yeah! It's because boys grow up. Girls are 5 yer old sparkly princesses forever! ::slaps forehead:: LOL

I acutlaly really like Romeo and Anthony. Diamond is, a little unfortunate.

I think Romeo is just as bad as Diamond, personally. I like Anthony though - how did he manage to get such a good name?

Romeo (boy) - I don't know why you would name a child after one of Hamlet's worst tragedys who, by the way, kills himself at the end. I mean I know the name is cute and all but I'd preffer something less tragic.
Anthony (boy) - cute but very blah
and...
Diamond (girl) - I actually think this is cute, a diamond is a very precious thing that lasts forever and it's a name she can grow into. Have any idea what her middle name is?

Ok I'm all for interesting names really I am but I cannot get my head/heart/mind around Diamond. I just.....I can't I'm sorry.

Romeo is well - he can either be really popular with it or not so much it really depends on his personality.

Diamond however is a stripper name and this coming from an ex-stripper who normally thinkis "eeehhh maybe they can pull it off" I'm just backing this one.

A boy I went to primary school with was called Romeo, but his parents had just moved from from Lebanon (I think - this was about eight years ago) and didn't speak much English so I don't think there was the reference to Romeo and Juliet there.
