Thoughts on the name Alyssandra?

I've taken a liking to this name. Though i think i prefer the spelling Alessandra.

I love it! I had it on my list, but my husband won't allow our child to be named after a victorias Secret model! LOL

I like the spelling without the "Y" best... too many y's are added into names lately!

I love the name Alessandra. I think it's a nice alternative to Alexandra. I don't like the spelling with the y though.

I like Alessandra a lot, but I don't like Alyssandra. The y seems very unnecessary. I know of a 10 month old named Alessandra :)

I love Alessandra, and I suppose Alyssandra would be a nice name to name my kid after myself, but I just prefer the spelling of Alessandra.

I prefer Alessandra to Alyssandra, but I still like Alexandra better. As far as a nn goes, I prefer the look of Alix over Alex, and I like Sasha, which I believe is a Slavic diminutive??
