Help me find a Jewish girl's name that my fiance and I will both love. By Jewish I mean the English version of a Hebrew name or just a Hebrew name if it's nicer than the translation.
We agree on boy names but have very different opinions on girl names
Names I love that he has already said no to:
Hadassah
Hadara
Adara
Aviva
Tabitha
Shoshana
Hannah
Rachel
Levana
Kinneret
Zipporah
Names that are too popular:
Sarah
Rebecca
names we can't use because someone in the family already has them:
Miriam
Eve
Adina
Debra
Abigail
Tamara
Elana (my Hebrew name)
Noa (because his nephew is Noah and it's too close)
Talia (because I have a cousin Natalia)
Names that we both can agree on but neither of us are like "oooh I love it":
Naomi
Leah
Chaya (for a middle name)

Date: 2006-12-26 08:22 pm (UTC)yeah I find it mildly annoying. Yes there are some great names and I'm glad people are using them instead of more kre8tiv ones but on the other hand, leave some names for me! lol I don't want all the names I adore to become uber popular.
thanks for your suggestions. :)
