I like it, but maybe only because it reminds me of Yanni. I know, you're thinking of the guy who plays the pan pipes or whateer it is he plays, but don't worry, I'm not. One of the most gorgeous men I've ever known was named Yanni, so I've always been partial to it. Even though I know 3 other Yannis, and 2 of them are downright greasy-gross. The good one more than makes up for thsoe 2.

(Now I must go look up old friends from high school who's name starts with "Y".)

I like it.

I think it's fairly popular in Quebec (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

I know a female nurse named Yannick. I think it's just okay for a boy, but kind of bizarre for a woman.

Not a fan. It reminds me quite a bit of the sound one makes whilst vomiting. =/

it's fairly popular in france. i knew a girl called yannick once too, but she said it was because her mum had wanted a boy, haha.

My high school French teacher was called Yannick. Ah, Mr. Jarnet... fond memories. Sort of.

I guess I will only ever associate it with him, but it's not such a bad name, really.
