What do you guys think of the name Flora?

My mum hates it. She cringes whenever I say it. My sister doesn't really care, and my best friend can't see it on a real person.

I worked with a Flora, she was nice and I think the name is pretty, but everybody called her "Flor" which is like.. Floor, as in the carpet. So for that reason alone I don't like it so much.

Ohh, there are some nicknames you'd need to work out.
Unless you'd take the 'Sara' route and just call the person by their full name...?
