One of my very good friends had a baby a few months ago and named him John Vincent, but she calls him Vincent. Personally, I love the Vincent but could do without the John, but it's a family name. And another friend of mine is expecting a boy in April, and the name she has chosen for him is Mason Dean. I like Mason, but can't stand Dean. She can't either, but again, family name that her husband's adamant about.

Opinions?

Maybe she can work on him? Im not big on Dean eather, sounds like Bean. Mason is a neat name, its an occupation name. Those can be great :)

I love the name Dean. It's sexy and hip - makes me think of James Dean.

Vincent is one of my most favorite male names ever. :) I don't like John paired with it, but it could be worse.

Mason is great. Dean is not bad. Together? Nah. I think they'd each sound better with longer names.

I don't like any of the names :(!
Dean is my step-dad's name, hence a not so cool complex with me.

I usually hate occupation names but I really like Mason for some reason.

Not keen on Dean really.

I vastly prefer John Vincent ( or eve Vincent John) better then Mason Dean. What is Mason's appeal?
