Hello.

My name's Sharon, and I'm new to this community.

I really likes names. The sounds, meanings, origins, their significance to others, all that stuff.

My personal taste in names runs to the slightly old-fashioned. One of my most favorite names is Evelyn. I've noticed its climb up the popularity charts lately, and I can't say I'm surprised. ;)

I'm also a huge fan of Olivia (trend-city!) and Lenore.

I also love of Greek names.

I seriously thought it was a blah old lady name, even when I decided to use it. but it was my grama's name, and she died when I was 12, and it would only be a middle name... by the time I actually had a daughter, it had grown on me quite a bit, but I never expected it to get so popular!
