ON A LIGHTER MORE RIDICULOUS NOTE, I know somebody who recently had a baby girl and she named her GREY ADDISON after people on that TV show that I've never seen, Grey's Anatomy. She is going to regret that pretty soon.


I love Grey's Anatomy and I love the name Addison and would totally use it to name my child, but that's a bit overboard!!

Addison is one of those names to me that sounds unisex [even if it isn't originally supposed to be].
Maybe just because I'd pair it with the nickname of Addie, and that is girly to me.

I like Addison but naming your kid completely after a show is kind of silly. I have a name picked out of a movie 'Leelou' but I am not going to name the baby 'Leelou Dallas' or 'Leelou Korbin' totally after the movie.

If it weren't for the show, I think it'd be a great name. But it's really going to suck when the show starts going downhill in a couple years and everyone's just begging for it to end (like ER for example), and she's named after it.

I like GA, and I love Addison (the character and the name), but Grey Addison doesn't sound nice at all. Grey is a color and a surname, not a first name, IMO.

Naming your child Addison is like naming your child Crohn to me. Why are people naming their little girls after a disease. ; ;

And Grey for a little girl is hideous. It's not even a very pretty colour. :(

Not exactly. Those diseases were named after people in the first place. It's more a last-name-first sort of thing.
