I prefer Laney or Lainey. Leni is a good nickname for the name Lena, which I also like. But it also depends on how you want people to pronounce it. You have more of a chance of people mispronouncing it if it is spelled Leni. Laney and Lainey are pretty much straightforward in terms of pronunciation. To me Leni looks too much like a nickname.
