Male names on females

So, I was thinking about the whole trend of giving girls names which are blatantly masculine (Ryan, James etc), and I realised there are two women at my work who have men's names. I've worked there a year and a half so the names don't even sound odd to me anymore, but I remember when I started I thought it was very strange. We have a Merlin (in her 30s I think), and a Felix (probably late 40s). What do you guys think? Do you know any people with odd names which you hardly even notice because you know them?

One of my mom's best friends is named Tommy. I always thought it was odd.

My grandmother's legal first name is Charles (unless she had it changed). She goes by her middle name, which I won't post here cos this is public and her name isn't common and she uses the internetz.

My aunt's name is Merlyn, her's is short for Merlynda and I don't notice it at all because she's the only one I've ever known. I also knew a woman named Michael, I could never really get used to it though.

I know a Merlin!!! He's a fat old man with orange stripy hair and whiskers. He sleeps on my bed. And hogs it.

It's hardly a new trend (Ashley was a man's name once, as were Stacy and Tracy), but I think it's a little lame. But then again I'm kind of old fashioned.

I have a girl friend who's named Kyle.
I also know a Fabrijay (f), Passionate (f), Snowflake (m), and a girl we called BG because her father actually named her Beautiful Girl.
