I LOVE the name Molly. I don't know why, I just do. Its cute and not very common where I live.

The boyfriend likes it too, but for a dog.
Nice right?

BUT anyways, I'm determined to name my baby Molly if its a girl. I lovelovelove it.

Molly Lynn or Molly Anne?

Molly Anne - I think Molly Lynn has too many Ly's in it.

[identity profile] naturalgoddess.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Oh wow.
Well, you could always choose to give her your last name - unless it's Lynn-esque too. :)

I like Molly. Both of those middle names very blah though.

[identity profile] blissurrenderd.livejournal.com 2006-11-28 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I agree. Molly Anne sounds like one name to me- Maryann.

[identity profile] my-fair-kadie.livejournal.com 2006-11-28 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Molly Elizabeth :P

Thats what Ive always wanted to name my daughter and its actually what my mom almost named me. I think its a beautiful name, although I might spell Molly as Molleigh because my mothers middle name is Leigh and Leigh is the middle name of various family members, so it would be a nice tribute.

I LOVE Molly, but I think a more exciting middle name would be better.

[identity profile] insideman.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
We both liked Molly a lot in the begining. In fact, it was the name we decided on. Until we remembered she'll have my last name and she would then be Molly Brown and heh too many people might remember Titanic.

But I still really love Molly.

I like Molly Grace and Molly Isabella as well.

I can see it on a dog, actually. What about Molly Jane?

love the name molly... and molly anne sounds cute

[identity profile] bloomingtulip.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
I dislike Molly for the same reason you like it- it's cute. I don't like cute in general and with names, I don't think they age well. But that's just a personal thing. Well that and I've never met a nice Molly.

[identity profile] katelovesyou.livejournal.com 2006-11-30 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
i agree. its a little girl's name, not a woman's name. you may be naming a baby when you deliver, but the majority of her life is going to spent as an adult.

i also had a rottweiler named Molly, so its also a dog's name to me.

My old College roomates neice is named Molly. I always thought of it as an old name, and the name of my beloved american girl doll. But Im starting to like it.. the only thing that concerns me is if it will age well... but its up to you. I like Molly Ann Best :)

My friend's name is Molly Theresa..which is nice, except it just reminds me of Mother Theresa when I say it, lol

I like Molly Brianne/Breann

[identity profile] pap3r-heart.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
I have a friend named Molly-Anne, with a hyphen so it's considered as her whole first name.
So that's obviously the one I'm choosing.
Plus, it just sounds better.

I really like the name Molly. :) And I think I prefer Molly Anne.. :)

[identity profile] glitterberrys.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
Molly Anne. My name is Molly Kate :)

[identity profile] oh-snitch.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
Molly Anne by far. Rolls off the tongue alot better.

I ADORE the name Molly...for a girl and a dog. :]

[identity profile] satunian.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
Mmmm, neither. Molly Anne can flow almost like a whole name, which I don't like, and Molly Lynn has consecutive repetition, the ly followed by Ly. I like Molly too, but I would try for another mn. What about Molly Rose or Molly Rae?

[identity profile] maelwaedd.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 10:10 am (UTC)(link)
I adore the name Anne. I think it's a bit too plain to have as a first name, but it's a darling middle name.

I really like Molly too, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to go with your boyfriend: it's just so sweet and cutesy that it sounds like a dog's name, sorry.

[identity profile] seren.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 01:43 pm (UTC)(link)
my husband liked the name Lucy for a dog, but I got my way in the end, and our daughter is Lucy Rhiannon. Muahahaha ;) He no longer associates it with dogs thankfully!

I think Molly Anne, because Molly Lynn is heavy on the L sound, but both work :)

[identity profile] bugamok.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
What about Molly Beth?

[identity profile] sotypical42483.livejournal.com 2006-11-29 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Molly Lynn.

But I really think Molly is best as a nn for Amalia.

Molly Lynn
