My boss had a baby girl yesterday named Emmerie Faith T. What do you all think?

I know, I was reading them like 'what the hell?' I guess we're the only ones who still think it's a boys name. I find it sad that Emory has gone to the girls now. Same with Avery, that one really makes me sad.

to me it sounds like a foreigner trying to say "emily" haha. emery is a cooler spelling.

Don't like it. It's too obviously a "we like Emily, but it's too popular so we're changing it" name, and no one will spell it right.

I LOVE IT! it flows wonderfully and I like the spelling. Ive always loved the name Ellery or Ellory for a girl but people tlel me its too close to Celery.. but maybe Emmerie would be a nice similar name..

I like Ellery MUCH better than Emmerie or Emory, whatever that's worth.

I agree with others that Emery, of any spelling, sounds like Kim Jong Il from "Team America: World Police" saying "Emily."
