i agree, a lot of names sound much prettier in french! including anais. it used to be one of my favourites but it was one of the few names my french ex & i could agree on...and i can't imagine using it now! :(

out of your names i like:

anais
mila
ruby
isis

julian
noah
roman

i like some of the others too but probably wouldn't use them! cool list overall. just wondering, how would you pronounce the name 'damian' the french way? i've only ever seen it spelled 'damien' in france and i know how to pronounce that but not sure how french people would say 'damian' with an 'a'.

I've seen Damian in a french context and it was pronounced: 'dahm-yahn.'

is Damien like 'dahm-yehn' with a nasally N?

eeek pronunciations are hard rofl

the way i say 'damien' is...hmmm, it's kinda impossible to say in england. but it's not like you pronounce the final 'n'. it's kinda like dam- yeh, but not.

I'm procrastinating... so make way for the opinion-train!

Aimee - I love this spelling... if the name wasn't so common (Amy) I'd really consider using it.
Alize - NMS
Anaïs - NMS
Andrea - I've never liked this name, probably because I know so many people with it that it's become blah to me.
Ava - I like it despite it's popularity
Daning - Never heard this before... it just looks awkward to me, but I actually don't mind how it sounds... I have a friend name "Danelle", perhaps you'd like that - it's quite similar.
Emma - this one's weird for me, it either reminds me of tiny cute little girl or a large unattractive old woman... I don't know... not for me.
Emiliana - how do you say this?
Evi - cute, but looks unfinished to me
Fayah - interesting... it's alright.
Giselle - beauty school.
Isabeau - Unique, but not for me.
Isis - gorgeous
Isobel - beautiful
Isolde - It looks so pretty but when said it just sounds like "_____ is old" to me...
Jade - kind of plain, but nice.
Julia // Juliet - Juliet is better :)
Kylie - ok... but I don't think it ages well particularly
Lillianne - it's alright I guess
Liz - a nickname
Lucia - ok
Lydia - ok
Meike - ok
Mila - beautiful... one of my top 5!!
Penelope - I've never understood the appeal of this name... oh well.
Ruby - pretty
Sacha - a dogs name.
Sage - I love it as a middle name :)
Sienna - beautiful.

Alexei - interesting, too feminine for me.
Ash // Ashton // Asher - I like 'em all.
Beau - Days of our lives ;)!
Caleb - Not for me...
Cas - NMS
Christoph - NMS
Damian (prcd in French) - beautiful
Dante - I love this name for some odd reason
David - too many annoying associations in my life.
Evan - I love this name as well... I just hate that it's Top 100
Ethan - Love love love this name, but couldn't deal with it being the #1 name in the country.
Hayden - I've known 2 children by this name - 1 adorable, 1 annoying... either way, I don't really go for "den" names in general... if any, I prefer "Aidan"
Julian - its ok.
Matthijs - not for me
Milan - NMS
Millau (prnc in French) - NMS
Misha - girls name to me...
Nathaniel // Nathan - I prefer Nathan... great name
Noah - Love love love.
Rodin (prnc in french) - ok.
Roman (prnc in French) - ok.
Sylvester - the cat!
Tristan - male version of my name, I'm bias, I love it
Xander // Zander - ok.
Xavier - ok.

Although we have quite different tastes for the most part, I love how unique your list is!

Of the girl names i like Ruby, Sienna, Jade (i prefer Jada though) and Emiliana looks pretty but im not sure how to pronounce it.
Fayah sounds pretty, but i much prefer Freya (fray-uh), there's a 3 yr old with this name where i work and she's just adorable so i might be a little biased ;)

Of the boy names i like, Ashton, Asher, Beau, Dante, Evan, Ethan, Nathanial, Noah, Roman and Tristan =)

I've always LOVED the name Alexei, but think it's too feminine to use around here.

I love a lot of your names, actually!

Milan is my cousin Dianna's last name. They pronounce it muh-LAN as in LANd or an with an l in front. Is that the way you pronounce it?

I'm studying the Council of Nicea/ the Nicene Creed at the moment and it's really not something I'd want to lumber a child with :/

This (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea). It's a whole lot of religious weight and book-burning and stoning and woe, basically.
