Nov. 26th, 2006 12:06 pmOkay, these are my top ten combos right now for names but I am sure they'll change later :)
Girls:
Anna Elizabeth
Charlotte Skye
Faith Lisette
Ivy Jade
Juliet Lily
Leila Rose
Madeleine Gabrielle
Natalie Faye
Sienna Violet
Talia Grace
Boys:
Aiden Christopher
Caleb Brent
Daniel Elijah
Elliott Liam
Hadrian River
Nathaniel Owen
Nathan Spencer
Rory Sebastian
Ryan Lucas
Simon James
I know some of these names are not your guys style, I just want to hear people's thoughts though.
[ETA: I had no clue about Hadrian, so now that I know it's a wall I don't like it as much anymore it'll be one of my guilty pleasure names now :)]

Date: 2006-11-26 08:30 pm (UTC)I think Elliott is gorgeous. I like Nathanial and Ryan too though not sure I'd use them. James I love as well, and would consider for a first name. Hadrian is too much associated with a wall for me, but I think that perhaps only British people would feel that way...
Sorry that was a bit over-enthusiastic!

Date: 2006-11-27 12:07 am (UTC)Anna Elizabeth- classic and beautiful
Charlotte Skye- sounds nice but i dont like Charlotte at all.
Faith Lisette- Don't like either
Ivy Jade- Ivy is nice, jade is tacky.
Juliet Lily- I could use this for my own daughter no problm i love it so much.
Leila Rose- pretty but i bit blah
Madeleine Gabrielle- love it but i wouldnt use it. The sort of name id hear on someone elses kid and it would stay with me for a while.
Natalie Faye- hate Natalie
Sienna Violet- I like that they are both colours but not obviously.
Talia Grace- boring
Boys:
Aiden Christopher- blah
Caleb Brent- dont like brent
Daniel Elijah- LOVE
Elliott Liam- Elliott is a silly spelling. Elliot or Eliott. I prefer the latter. It's a nice combo anyhow
Hadrian River- oh no...Hadrian's wall is in Rome and this sounds like another georgraphical phrase
Nathaniel Owen- i dont like nathaniel, i like nate though
Nathan Spencer- hate both names
Rory Sebastian- LOVE once again i could happily use this for a son.
Ryan Lucas- Lucas Ryan. I dont like Ryan as much and i LOVE Lucas
Simon James- boring.
So Juliet Lily & Rory Sebastian are ace!

Date: 2006-11-27 11:04 pm (UTC)Hadrian's Wall is sometimes referred to as the border between England and Scotland (it isn't, really) but that should give you a fair idea of whereabouts it is!

Date: 2006-11-27 01:54 am (UTC)Charlotte Sky - I love the name Charlotte. Sky is NMS. But they sound nice together.
Faith Lisette - NMS, again, but sound nice together.
Ivy Jade - Too much green imagery together for my tastes. ;)
Juliet Lily - I don't quite feel this flows... but it pains me to say it, because Lily Juliet was on my list for a long time. Yay for similar tastes in names!
Leila Rose - NMS, but again, sounds really pretty together.
Madeleine Gabrielle - A little clumsy, though I lovelovelove both these names. It's because they both have three syllables, I think. They don't sound awful together, but I think that they would both stand out more elegantly paired with a one or two syllable name.
Natalie Faye - NMS, but again, nice pairing.
Sienna Violet - NMS, but nice.
Aiden Christopher - I like this!
Caleb Brent - Same thing, with the two B sounds together. Hard to say. All becomes one word, or sounds like Caleb Rent.
Daniel Elijah - I feel like this is hard to say too, possibly because the two ELs in a row, like above.
Elliot Liam - Very very nice. NMS, but sounds lovely.
Hadrian River - NMS. Like others, made me think of Britain.
Nathaniel Owen - I reeeally like this one. May be my favorite on your list of boy names.
Nathan Spencer - Still nice, but Nathan has bad associations for me.
Rory Sebastian - Rory sounds girly to me. I've only known girls with that name. I love Sebastian, though. Twelfth Night forevah!
Ryan Lucas - I like.
Simon James - I reeeeally like. This is tied with Nathanial Owen for me. ;) It sounds like a name I would consider using.
Altogether, excellent taste!

Date: 2006-11-27 02:55 am (UTC)Charlotte Skye - Sounds nice but nms
Faith Lisette - I REALLY REALLY like this!
Ivy Jade - I hate Ivy.
Juliet Lily - Very pretty
Leila Rose - So is this prn. Lila? Because the -ei in Madeleine and the -ei and this name should be the same... I prefer Laila or Layla
Madeleine Gabrielle - I really like Gabriela
Natalie Faye - Ew no
Sienna Violet - Sounds nice!
Talia Grace - I like this a lot. Talia is v. Middle Eastern. :)
Boys:
Aiden Christopher - Love Christopher, but not Aiden. ANd I would spell it Aidan.
Caleb Brent - LOVE this!
Daniel Elijah - This is ok. I would switch to Elijah Daniel
Elliott Liam - I like them both but not t/g
Hadrian River - EW. Hadrian reminds me of Hades.
Nathaniel Owen - NICE!
Nathan Spencer - NICE!
Rory Sebastian - Hmm. I like
Ryan Lucas - Kinda boring but nice
Simon James - I like
Overall...I like your style!

Date: 2006-11-28 08:43 pm (UTC)And the person that thinks Elliott is a silly spelling is a twit. It's the proper spelling, and the others are derivatives. Eliott is more a made up spelling than any of the others. Elliot is an acceptable one, and Eliot (as in TS) is relatively common as well.
Your style is similar to mine (my girl names right now are Lila Jane, Sophia Bella, Elizabeth (Betty), Beatrice, Miranda, Moira, Fiona, Matilda, Annabelle, and Polly, and boy names are Oliver, Miles, Holden, and Henry.)
- Mom to an Elliott, who did all of her homework
