(no subject)

I'm been doing my observations for one of my education classes...

Yesterday, there was a boy I met named...

it hurts to even say it

Da'Hoode

I asked him how he got it, and he said Hoode was his mother's maiden name. Pronounced "Hood"

Ughhhh WHY WHY WHY WHY

Well that's a pretty ghetto name. (no pun intended)=)

It makes perfect sense, at least.

"Of Hoode" - I suppose it should be D'Hoode, but then people would pronounce it "Duuuuuude" in all likelihood.

It makes sense, but do people not think about these things before doing them?
