what does anyone think of the name Gianna??

well her mom wasn't too impressive. You can definitely tell where the defiance comes from. But I thought Gianna was a pretty name.

well im 1/2 italian and 1/2 portugues. and my babe is 1/2 italian hald indian...so it would fit

It's one of my very favorite names. :) I'm Italian and had an aunt pass away who was Joann... since Gianna is Italian for Joanna, I thought it might make a nice tribute someday. :D

I know a little 4-year-old girl with that name. they call her gigi for short. she's a special little one--spina bifida and hydrocephalus. doctors recommended aborting, said she "might live a couple of hours" if she carried to birth... but she is fine and normal except she can't walk, but she pushes herself around in her wheelchair ;)

LOL that little girl was such a brat. I can't believe she was bunch your mommy in the face and threw water on her. ha! But I must say she is a pretty little girl though. I frankly really like that name A LOT. But my husband and I already have a name for out daughter. Gianna is different but not weird and hard to pronounce different.
