Nov. 14th, 2006 12:04 pmThe hubby and I are not currently TTC (its still a few years off) but we always like to talk baby names. In the past few days, the names Juniper (girl), Meredith, Ada, Lillian and Atticus (boy) have popped up. Im a die-hard fan of such boy names as Malachai and Seamus, but the hubby goes from liking them to hating them in just a few days. Plus, for some of them, Im having a very hard time coming up with middle names that sound cohesive, especially with the last name Toomey. Im a stickler for not having any names that have "ee, y, or ie" in them. I just think thatd sound horrible with our last name. Any thoughts?

Date: 2006-11-14 08:29 pm (UTC)Meredith- love love as a middle name.
Ada- very pretty, alternative to Ava. I do prefer Ava but popularity wise Ada is refreshing.
Lillian- I don't like this at all, i like Lily but it's a bit blah nowadays.
Atticus - yes but please don't say it's because of TKAMB. That's so erughhh... read some more books!!
I think Seamus is adorable.

Date: 2006-11-14 08:50 pm (UTC)Meredith- sounds good with our last name
Ada- love it! But if it gets too popular, I could the Irish variation of Aoife, pronouced "ee-fa"
Lillian- Im on the fence about, because I thought of using the name Villa as a middle name. Dunno though
Atticu- LOVE! But has no connection to TKAMB or the clothing line (as the husband bitched about)
I love Seamus, but Mike keeps saying, "It sounds like Shame-us!! Thats horrible!!" Hes dorky sometimes, hahaha.
