babynamesA friend of mine has a little boy named Daya. When I asked where she got the name she said her husband came up with it and it's an Indian name. All I've been able to find is that it's a Hindu and a Hebrew girls name.
When I first heard it I thought it was unusual, but not necessarily bad. Now it's grown on me and I've gotten to like it.
