I read about four sisters today named:

Mercy (age 13)
Liberty (age 11)
Glory (age 6)
Comfort (age 4)

I think they ran out of SOMEWHAT ACCEPTABLE nouns by the time they got to Comfort. I know what a noun is thank you. :)

maybe in whatever language you speak.

I'd slit myself if I had any of those names.

Decided to think it out for a minute, and yup, I'd slit myself.

It's a noun and a verb. I would assume it's a noun in the context of the names though.

Um... yeah. It's an abstract noun. It's also a verb, but it's definitely a noun.

I used to work with a girl who was planning on naming her first daughter Comfort. If she had a boy she was going to call him Milko...

True confession: I love Mercy. Comfort, while I would never use it, is a serious guilty pleasure. I love me the Puritans, what can I say?

Comfort sounds like the name of a sanitary pad or adult diaper.

Where I am it's a brand of fabric softner, which isn't much of an improvement.

Liberty & Glory are lovely.
Mercy is nice, but The Crucible totally put me off it.
Hmmm not sure about Comfort, it works in theory but there are better choices on the theme (Hope, Verity etc).

Yeah I quite like all those crazy puritan names, probably wouldn't use them IRL but still.
